Although Banks will be 'virtual' in business, she will still be very real on our TV's despite announcing the end of her five year chat show, 'The Tyra Banks Show' when she appears as a judge on 'America's Next Top Model'.

Spain's World Cup championship isn't the only thing Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz have been celebrating lately.

It turns out the longtime couple tied the knot earlier this month at a friend's home in the Bahamas, Cruz's rep confirmed to E! News Tuesday.

You'd think we'd have known, based on the sheer hotness that must have been radiating from the West Indies that day, but no.

Per Cruz's rep. The bride wore a gown designed by pal John Galliano and only family members were in attendance at the small ceremony.

The Spanish-born beauty was the target of pregnancy rumors last summer, and we're thinking she's going to be either confirming or shooting down more of the same sometime soon.

Cruz, who counts Matthew McConaughey and Tom Cruise among her ex-beaus, started dating Bardem in 2007. She played his sexy-nutty ex-wife in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, for which she won an Oscar, a year after Bardem won his for playing the oddly coiffed killer in No Country for Old Men.

At least according to Star magazine. In their print edition this week they posted this little blurb that may confirm that Megan Fox was knocked up when she got married
in Hawaii last week.

Could it be because there's more than just love in the air?

"It's being whispered that they got married because Megan's expecting
," a source tells Star. A friend of Megan admits she's "been trying to get pregnant." And Brian was spotted lovingly rubbing his wife's belly. "He was really gentle with her, especially when touched her stomach. She was glowing," says the source.

Not sure I can buy into this one. Megan has lost so much weight lately, it's possible she might have a hard time getting pregnant. Plus, since getting fired from Transformers she going to have start hustling to keep her career afloat. Meanwhile, her new hubby will be bringing home he bacon from his new role on Desperate Housewives.

Let Me In stars Kick-Ass' Chloe Moretz as the adorable and creepy middle schoolgirl with a raging thirst for blood and wicked Morse code skills.
It looks a bit darker than what we've come to expect from our vampire movies and television shows, but it was was huge hit in Sweden and the American version will be directed by Cloverfield's Matt Reeves.

Rob Thomas Speaks Out on Party Down Cancellation--Is the Veronica Mars Movie Next?

Update, 12:13 p.m.: Rob Thomas, the mastermind behind Party Down, the series Starz just stupidly canceled, just gave me his thoughts on the "disappointing" news, and what he's working on now.

Psst...Please oh please say it's the Veronica Mars movie (Rob created that show too). Or hey, even a Party Down movie would rock...

Alas, Rob tells me his next project is something new with new characters. The upside? It's for a network that has a pretty bangin' track record as of late. "I'm writing a drama pilot set in the world of corporate espionage for Showtime," Rob says when I asked if he might be working on the V.M. movie.

Showtime + Rob Thomas = Magic according to leading mathematicians.

As for the heartbreaking (to us fans) cancellation of Party Down, Rob tells me:"I'm not sure that any of us are terribly surprised today, but we're all really disappointed. One of the things we loved about doing the show is that we felt like we got to write to an audience of our circle of friends. I think that's exactly who ended up watching it. So, in that respect, mission accomplished!"

Indeed. And anyone who saw Friday's episode--with the return of Jane Lynch--knows how crazy good this show can be, for those of us who shared it in that circle.

Now the details of the cancellation revealed earlier today..

File this under news that totally sucks.

Starz has decided not to renew critical fave Party Down after just two short seasons, and tons of love from TV folks like us. Unfortunately, the numbers simply weren't there (in Nielsen terms, just about no one was tuning in!), so a third season is off the table.

Explains Starz executive vice president of programing Stephen Shelanski, who also announced the end of freshman series Gravity today:

"After careful consideration, we've decided not to continue on with subsequent seasons of Party Down and Gravity. We're grateful to everyone involved in the shows, and are proud to have had them on the channel. Starz remains committed to aggressively expanding our original programming lineup."

P.D. fans can still get a minifix of its stars by tuning in to see Adam Scott on Parks and Recreation (whenever that returns) and Ryan Hansen in NBC's new fall series Friends With Benefits. But...sigh...it just won't be thd same without Lizzy Caplan and Ken Marino in the mix, will it?

I am desperately hoping this story turns out to be a big, fat pack of lies.

Britney Spears is going to be questioned by social workers over claims that she abused her two boys. A former bodyguard named Fernando Flores has accused her of beating of her boys with a belt and being an unfit mother. He also claims she knowingly fed the boys food they were allergic to.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Britney doesn't mean to be a bad mother. But Flores feels she has so many issues she can't be trusted around her boys. He claims the first really shocking incident was when she came marching into the pool house at her mansion and demanded his belt. He handed it over but then followed her into the main house and claims he winessed the alleged incident."

I know Britney isn't ever going to win any mother of the year awards, but honestly I highly doubt she beats her kids. Maybe she just subscribies to that old-school 'belt-whooping' parenting that so many of us grew up with.

Not that I agree...in fact I don't spank my kid at all because negative reinforcement doesn't work as well as taking away his beloved Wii when he is bad. He claims that is child abuse.

"Sure I like to be controversial," he says, "but I don't want to go to jail." He then adds that Cyrus was "clearly" not showing anything inappropriate.

Han Solo is solo no more. Horrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are finally married. After eight years of dating, the couple got married Tuesday in New Mexico, where Ford is filming "Cowboys and Aliens." Publicist for the stars confirm that they did indeed tie the knot.

Ford and Flockhart had an unlikely official performing their wedding: New Mexico governor and former Presidential candidate Bill Richadson, who is a friend of the couple. Richadson and his wife Barbara played host to the nuptials at the Governor's Mansion in Santa Fe and also served as witnesses.

Because Richadson is not ordained, Supreme Court Chief Justice Charles Daniels also attended the ceremony to make Ford and Flockhart's union legally legit.

Also in attendence: the couple's 9-year-old son, Liam, whom Flockhart adopted in 2001.

The governor and his staff declined to divulge details of the ceremony, telling The Associated Press that it was "a private matter."

Ford, 67, and Flockhart, 45, started dating after meeting at the 2002 Golden Globes. He proposed to her last year on Valentine's Day.

While this is the first marriage for the "Brother's & Sisters" actress, the "Indiana Jones" and "Star Wars" leading man has been married twice before -- first to Mary Marquardt and then to screenwriter Melissa Mathison. He has four children from those relationships.

Much ado was made about Flockhart and Ford's age difference when their relationship began. But in 2003, she told People magazine that the buzz doesn't bother her.

"It doesn't faze me," she said. "Sometimes I even say, 'Wow, I keep forgetting that he's [22] years older than me.' It doesn't factor into our relationship at all."

Betty White, nude? No way. According to White's agent, the report that unseen sex photos of the 88-year-old "Golden Girls" star and her late husband, TV game show host Allen Ludden, were found in her old house is false.

"This is simply not her," Jeff Witjas told ABCNews.com. "This has come up over the years -- people claim they have photos of Betty and Allen, and it's simply not true. And Betty's laughing. She can't believe people are still talking about this."

The blog ZackTaylor.ca claimed the photos, four in total, were found in a box of memorabilia left at White's old house, and the people purportedly in possession of them might put them up for sale.

Witjas joked that he'd love to find out what else is in the purported house.

"Maybe there's some other stuff of Betty's," he said.
"Maybe they found her old jewelery."

We haven't seen much of Amanda Bynes since, umm, her 2007 smash hit Sydney White (you saw it right?), but TV funnygal turned movie
star turned Hills dude's girlfriend is bowing out of the acting game at the ripe old age of...24?!

"I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it," Bynes tweeted around 3 a.m. Saturday morning.

But why the sudden change of heart?

According to the onetime Nickelodeon kid, "Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem. I've never written the movies & tv shows I've been apart of, I've only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play."

Bynes, who's headlined not one, but two television shows since age 13, went on to say: "If I don't love something anymore I stop doing it." Hence, the abrupt end to her still-budding acting career.

And just to make sure we understood what she was trying to say, Bynes wrapped up her rant with a pretty solid declaration. "I know 24 is a young age to retire," she wrote, "but you heard it here first I've retired."

If you're Bynes-a-holic, don't fret. You can still catch the (former?) actress in theaters this fall starring opposite Emma Stone in the already buzzworthy Easy A.

Megan Fox has got engaged to Brian Austin Green - again.

The couple - who split in February 2009 after five years together - are betrothed to each other but have not yet seat a date for their wedding.

A representative for the 'Jonah Hex' actress said. "Yes, she is engaged."

Rumors that Megan and Brian had got engaged again have been circulating for months.

In January, the 36-year-old actor told one of his twitter followers he and the 24-year-old actress were "engaged" in response to a question about his marital status.

When the pair called off their engagement last year it was claimed they had done so to concentrate on their work.

A source said at the time: "The relationship had run its course. It's completely amicable, and they are remaining friends. They are both focusing on their careers."

Speculation is now rife as to what sort of ceremony the couple may have, with Megan previously insisting their nuptials would be a private affair.

I would have never expected Eminem to be so open about his battle with drug addiction. The normally severely private rapper seems to have found some sort of cathartic healing power in putting his struggle into his music and even talking about it in interviews.

"Showbiz Tonight's" Brooke Anderson caught up with Em backstage at his concert kicking off the E3 video game convention.

Brooke met up with Eminem in a VIP lounge, and he talked about his new album, "Recovery"-which hits stores next Monday-and also really opened up about the trials he's faced over the past several years

"Recovery feels better than ever," the Detroit rapper said. "Feels like I'm me again."

"It took me awhile to admit I actually did have a problem," the musician said. "I the hip-hop world that I live in, it can be mistaken for weakness and the last thing you want to do in hip-hop is admit that you're weak. But if I didn't admit I was weak with this certain thing I was going to die."

When asked how close he was to death, the artist responded that he "was certainly a couple of hours away from death,"

Cibrian and Glanville have two young children together. He filed for divorce last August in the wake of overwhelming evidence--i.e., Rimes separating from her husband--that he was having an affair with the country singer.

Glanville also told E! News that she found out Cibrian had a three-year fling with a cocktail waitress that overlapped with the time she was pregnant.

"To find out that whole time that he was doing that--it just made me sick," she said.

We're also told Elinore never had any time to herself and Lindsay would often force her to stay with her for days on end...and then blame her when things went wrong.

The 'MacGruber' actor - who split with the Oscar - winning star after seven years of marriage in 2006 - admits he still feels the pain of the relationship ending but aims to learn from the experience and become a better father to their children Ava, 10 and Deacon, 6.

He said: "I still have sadness about my divorce. But my aim is always to progress - to be a better father, a better boyfriend, a better friend, a better actor. My goals are to improve in all areas of life.

"If you're fearful and you're closing yourself off from potentially wonderful or beautiful additions to your life, that's not going to lead anywhere positive."

The 35-year-old star also doesn't agree with shouting at his young children, which he belives has contributed to them growing up well-behaved.

I almost feel bad for her today as this story breaks. She's just a kid that just hasn't grown into the grace she is going to need to handle the press and career. So these stupid things are going to slip out of her mouth from time to time.

In an interview with Elle magazine Kristen compared the paparazzi taking photos of her to images of a woman being raped. While most of us just read it and thought, 'what a stupid thing to say', it caused outrage with rape victims' advocacy organizations.

And here's the back-handed teenage apology:

"I really made an enormous mistake-clearly and obviously. And I'm really sorry about my choice of words. I've made stupid remarks before, and I've always reasoned: 'Whatever. They can think what they want,' " she says.

Clearly, she should have said "violated" but when you add in the teenage drama and hormones to the mix it came out "rape". You gotta love how she quickly added "They can think what they want". READ: My people are making me apologize but I think it's all bullshit."

It turns out that Tiger Woods is on a break.

The embattled star will be returning to therapy after he addresses the media Friday, according to a letter penned by PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem to the tour's policy board.

"As we understand it, Tiger's therapy called for a week's break at this time during which he has spent a few days with his children and then will make his statement before returnin," Finchem said in a letter obtained Thursday by the Associated Press.
"Accordingly, there was very little flexibility in the date for the announcement."

The PGA confirmed to E! News today that Woods left a treatment facility last week, though no one official has come right out and said he was being treated for a sex addition.

But that's where Woods comes in, right?

Finchem indicated earlier today that the golf great would clear up the whole rehab thing.

"This is the time frame that met with his rehab schedule, coming out for a little bit, being with his family for a little bit, doing this, it just worked," Finchem told ABC News earlier today.

"He got out of rehab last week, he spent some time with his family and he had some time for this tomorrow, and he'll address the details of that tomorrow. I should leave that to him."

E! News previously reported that Woods checked into Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, Miss., in January.

Aside from the pool of wire reporters, which will be missing three people after the Golf Writers Association of America declined to participate, CBS, NBC and ABC will carry the statement live, as will ESPN and the Golf Channel.

The Golf Channel, in fact, is starting its "pregame coverage" at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Earlier this week, a video surfaced on the web, showing me on a private tour of New Orleans Saints player, Reggie Bush's home. The published blog posts about the video have painted me as everything from a "thirsty ho," to "jump off" to "escort." These names aren't insulting, for they're not true.

As you all know by now, Reggie and I had a brief short lived relationship almost one year ago. During that time, we both were in serious relationships with other people, but we had an "understanding."

Unfortunately, things hit the fan when Reggie's girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, found out about our secret relationship. She immediately ran to the Internet to throw me under the bus. When this happened, Reggie and I went our separate ways. During our brief relationship, Reggie became a dear and valued friend to me. The negativity surrounding that situation made it extremely difficult for me to move on.

However, I did.

I want to use this column, for Honey, as an opportunity to express how deeply hurt and betrayed I feel. I am shocked and disappointed to see that on the eve of Reggie's biggest day, his team's Super Bowl win, the private video I took months ago had surfaced.

I believe it was leaked by a former trusted friend and colleage, for his personal gain. It wasn't my intention for that video to hit the net or distract Reggie from his amazing day. I made that video to let the "nay-sayers" know that I did have proof that he and I were in a relationship. Unfortunately drama continues to follow, but I have moved on from that experience - and still am.

Cameron was the big winner on the movie side, claiming best drama and best director for his science-fiction blockbuster and setting him for a possible awards sequel to 1997's "Titanic." Cameron's epic about the doomed oceanliner won the same prizes and went on to dominate the Academy Awards.

This time, though, instead of being "king of the world," as Cameron declared at the Oscar ceremony, he has become king of a computer-generated distant moon that made critics gush and sent box-office receipts soaring. The film has grossed $1.6 billion worldwide, second only to "Titanic" with $1.8 billion.

"Avatar' asks us to see that everything is connected, all human beings to each other, and us to the Earth. And if you have to go four and a half light years to another, made-up planet to appreciate this miracle of the world that we have right here, well, you know what, that's the wonder of cinema right there, that's the magic," Cameron said.

Other film acting prizes went to Sandra Bullock for the football tale "The Blind Side," Meryl Streep for the Julia Child story "Julie & Julia," Robert Downey Jr. For the crime romp "Sherlock Holmes" and Austrian actos Christoph Waltz as a gleefully bloodthirsty Nazi in "Inglourious Basterds."

When asked about playing Winnie Mandela, Hudson said, "I was compelled and moved when I read the script. Winnie Mandela is a complex and extraordinary woman and I'm honored to be the actress asked to portray her. This is a powerful part of history that should be told."

So, countersuing J-Lo and her father for defation because he said you were a "pain in the ass", and her law firm because you claim they intentionally interfered with the production of you mackumentary, which by court order a few years ago you aren't supposed to do anyway, makes you look really stupid (or should we say really reveals your true IQ) and worse makes you look like a whinny little school girl.

So take off that little pink satin skirt, grow some balls and move on with your pitiful life.

TV Host Gains Condemnation For Susan Boyle Comments

A New Zealand newspaper has condemned Paul Henry, who apparently once worked for the BBC and was talking about Boyle on the New Zealand's TVOne's Breakfast.

He described Boyle as "retarded" and laughed when he read that she had been starved of oxygen at birth.

"If you look at her carefully, you can make it out," he added.

The Sunday Express claimed that Henry's co-host Pippa wetzell said: "That is not funny. That's awful. She's had such a tragic life, that woman."

IHC New Zealand, a charity for people with learning disabilities, has critized Henry's comments and urged people to complain.

Sunday News reported that Henry described the charity's campaign as "shameful" and added that he "didn't regret anything I say".

After submitting us to the most gawdawful acting performance in many a decade, Mariah Carey has come out on top.

We were impressed with her performance, although it's just a small supporting role, and with the fact that she did it without or with very little make up. If you've seen "Prescious" then you know Mariah didn't look like a diva in it. She looked kind of plain and frumpy.

Anyway she did do a great job portraying the social worker in charge of Prescious's case. And the Palm Sprins Film Festival feels the same. They are awarding her with the best Breakthrough Performance honor this coming January.

People who have received that honor before her include, Marion Cotillard, Jennifer Hudson, Felicity Huffman and Freida Pinto. Great job Mariah!

In case you didn't know, Mariah has received five Grammys and has had eighteen Number One songs. Her first acting gig was in "The Bachelor" and then she went on to that awful "Glitter", "Wisegirls", "Tenesse", then "Prescious".

Dr. Conrad Murray Linked to Michael Jackson Drugs

A judge has unsealed a search warrant issued against Applied Pharmacy Services in Las Vegas, where authorities believe Dr. Conrad Murray obatained Propofol.

In case you don't know by now, that's the powerful anesthesia police believe killed Michael Jackson, and Murray, his personal physician, was administering it.

The affidavit says at the scene of Michael Jackson's death at his L.A. home, Propofol was recovered "in Dr. Murray's doctor's bag and on the bedside table."

In order to make their case, police are looking to pin down Visa and FedEx information linking Dr. Conrad Murray to the sale of Propofol by Applied Pharmacy.

According to the affidavit, during the search of Dr. Murray's home and office, police recovered a sales receipt from Applied Pharmacy-dated May 12, 2009.

On that date, Dr. Conrad Murray purchased four vials of Propofol.

He also bought three vials of benzos, and another drug, flumazenil, which is actually considered an antidote to a benzo, and is used to counteract benzos.

The total cost of the drugs: $853, with a $65 FedEx shipping fee.

After Jackson died June 25, Dr. Murray told police he was not the first doc to introduce Jackson to Propofol. Dr. Murray stated that Dr. Arnold Klein and Dr. Allan Metzger had given Jackson medicine that he says was not working.

And there's this. "Detectives intervied Grace Owanda (sic), Jackson's children's nanny." That's Grace Rwaramba, who is fact MJ's children's nanny.

"Owanda" stated that Michael Jackson was currently being treated by (Dr. Arnold Klein) and the last phycian to treat Jackson was Dr. Larry Koplin."

And we wonder why the investigation is taking forever ...

Investigators in Michael Jackson Homicide Case Being Extremely Thorough

Michaele Jackson passed away June 25, and Dr. Conrad Murray has been the singular focal point of the police investigation into the star's death for months now.

Still, no charges have been pressed. What the heck's taking so long?

The LAPD and the D.A's office have two words for you: O.J.

MJ's homicide investigation is taking so much longer than expected, because, as one law enforcement source connected with the case said, "We've had bad luck with big cases like O.J in the past, and we don't want to repeat those mistakes."

O.J. Simpson, many of you surely recall, was acquitted of double murder in 1995 despite a seemingly air tight case-one that unraveled after various blunders.

Fortunately, O.J. got his 13 years later after he kidnapped and robbed some people. But the police want to make sure Murray doesn't slip through their fingers.

The source also pointed to the Robert Blake Case, which some experts believe was also botched. But the source added, "There is not a problem with the case."

"Time is on our side. We want to do this right."

There is no pressure to speed things up, department insiders say, and as a result, the L.A. Country D.A office and the LAPD have been meticulously working as a unit to "anticipate defense strategies and prepare for them."

The D.A.'s office is actively involved, requesting lots of info from the LAPD as the investigation proceeds. Among the issues they are still yet to fully reconcile:

- Officials have keyed in on Applied Pharmany in Las Vegas, and want to make sure there were no other pharmacies sending Propofol to Dr. Conrad Murray.

- Another issue: authorities have gone back to their medical experts for more input, as "strategies have changed" in a case they call "very complicated."

As for when the investigation will conclude, authorities are saying they'd like to end it "before the Christmas holidays," but that could get pushed to January.

The latest work from the artist Sam Taylor-Wood made its debut in London last week. But it wasn't in a gallery. "Nowhere Boy", a fictionalised biography of the teenage years of Beatles founder John Lennon, was the closing film at the London Film Festival. The story concentrates on a period in the young musician's life when he discovered the truth behind why he had been raised by his aunt, and the bitter-sweet discovery of his mother living a short distance away.

Should The Art Newspaper be writing about "Nowhere Boy" at all? We very rarely review works of art. And, even then, the film is not a work that could conceivably come under the category of the "fine arts". But when an artist with headline grabbing potential of Ms Taylor Wood makes a work, it's news.

A high-flyer in the YBAs with an impeccable art world pedigree (she recently separated from White Cube head Jay Jopling), and a Turner Prize nominee in 1997, Taylor-Wood has the connections that allow her to try most things that might take her fancy. A quick stint as a would-be pop star? No problem, out comes a version of the Passions' 1981 one-off hit "I'M In Love With a German Film Star", overseen by her friends The Pet Shop Boys.

And when film-directing ("conventional" narrative as opposed to artists' film) grabbed her attention, it was with the support of her friend, the late director Anthony Minghella, that she made the coming of age short "Love You More". Unusually for a first short feature, it found itself in the main competition in Cannes.

Of course such cross-overs have a notable history. Steve McQueen's "Hunger" was certainly a recognisable piece of narrative cinema, but wore its "arthouse" sensibilities with both credibility and no self-consciousness-a foray into another category of representation, but still recognisably a key part of the artist's body of work.

A Violent Past for Alleged Cindy Crawford Extortionist: Exes Claimed Abuse and Rape

Cindy Crawford's nanny was apparently mixing it up with the wrong kind of guy.

Court documents show that Edis Kayalar, who's accused of trying to extort more than $100,000 from Crawford and her husband, has a sordid past that includes allegations of rape and abuse from his ex-wife and another girlfriend.

Kayalar's ex, Jaclyn Marie Freckmann, obtained a restraining order against him last year after accusing him of raping and beating her in February 2008 when she asked him to move out after barely three months of marriage, according to the filing obtained by E! News.

The morning after she kicked him out, she says, he broke into the house, saying he didn't love her and had only married her for citizenship.

"I wouldn't speak to him so he punched, choked, restrained me, and then he continued to beat me and then rape me," Freckmann stated.

And yesterday he was only an alleged extortionist.

Freckmann also claimed that Kayalar, a German citizen who was deported back to his home country last month, had substance abuse problems.

"On numerous occasions since marriage three months ago," she declared, "respondent has physically beaten me by pushing, hitting, punching, kicking, shoving, gagging, throwing and pinning me down. I have scratches on my chest and bruises on my body."

Another reationship Kayalar had afterward also went sour, according to a declaration from the woman obtained by TMZ.

Marissa Rukgaber said in an appeal for a restraining order that he slapped and punched her six or seven times when she refused to sleep with him at his friend's house.

The FBI confirmed to E! News yesterday that there is a warrant out for Kayalar's arrest.

According to investigators, he met Crawford and Randy Gerber's nanny at a bar and later swiped and inappropriate picture of the couple's apartments, as well as took Crawford's cell phone number.

Kayalar is now accused of threatening to release the picture of the girl, in which she's sitting in a chair bound and gagged, to the media if the family didn't wire him 100,000 euros.

Crawford and Gerber denied any knowledge of the photo, which the nanny admitted to taking "as a prank."

Today Hollywood Forever Cemetery will hold its 10th annual celebration of Dia de los Muertos from 4pm to 11pm. Dia de los Muertos is an ancient Aztec tradition.

On Dia de los Muertos it is believed that the veil that separates the living from the dead is lifted, allowing visits from departed loved ones. It a celebration, not a day of mourning. Both Rihanna's single "Russian Roulette" and Brown's tour announcement were firsts since their relationship came to a violent end in February.

Brown, 20, was sentenced to five years probation and community service in August for a bloody attack on Rihanna, 21, on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February. He has since publicly apologized for the assault, but has remained largely out of the media spotlight.

Brown's record company jive said the "Kiss Kiss" singer would play small venues in 19 U.S cities starting in Houston, Texas on November 14.

Rolling Stone.com described it as a "dark ballad" that ends with an aminour gunshot and "seems to find Rihanna singing about enduring a tumultuous relationship."

Ryan Seacrest, has won a temporary restraining order against a man accused of stalking him with a knife.

The TV and radio host's lawyers headed to court just hours after Chidi Uzomah was arrested wielding a knife outside Seacrest's Los Angeles offices on Friday.

It's the third time Uzomah has attempted to make contact with the star.

Last month he was convicted of three misdemeanours after fighting with Seacrest's bodyguard at a California hospital. He was also seen looking for Seacrest at a Burbanj radio station the same month.

According to TMZ.com, Seacrest's lawyer Blair Berk made the swift decision so Uzomah could be served the order whild he's still being interrogated by cops on felony stalking charges.

Under the terms of the temporary restraining order he must stay 100 yards away from Searcrest, his home, job and vehicle.

The order is the second granted by La authorities in just hours, after Nicole Richie sought similiar measures to protect her from two paparazzi photngraphers accused of crashing their car into her earlier this month.

Nokia to Get Royalty Payments from RIM

Nokia said today it would receive an up-front payment and royalties from Blackberry-maker Research In Motion (RIM) for use of its wireless technology patents.

Nokia said RIM has reneweb a multi-year patent licence agreement with it, but declined to comment on the size of the payments.

The deal covers use of GSM, WCDMA and CDMA2000 patents.

"Today announcement demonstrates the success of Nokia's increased focus on patent out-licensing" said Ikka Rahnasto, Nokia's Vice President in charge of intellectual property rights. "This agreement confirms Nokia's leading role in developing key technologies and the value of our patent assets."

Earlier this year Nokia settled a long patent battle with mobile chipmaker Qualcomm, agreeing on a 15-year deal which included a one-time payment of $2.2 billion.

Not that the 23-year-old actor is started for attention. Far from it.

"Like yesterday, I was having lunch down the road," he tells the paper. "We were in this place for a couple of hours and suddenly there was like 400 people outside on the street. It was just so nuts and it's like that all the time now."

"So I'm more of a supporting role in this one, which is why I felt so free," he says. "I didn't have to deal with any of the b-----of the first one. I don't have to hold the movie or worry about the fans. I think I did it better without all those pressures."
